The DM Fest was a blast. I finally came to the realization how good DJ Lazarus is. I am glad the roof was raised when he played "Never Let Me Down Again". I think the DM Fest should be a semi-annual event! :) By the way, I am a big supporter of rep/indie cinema and might be organizing an outing (elsewhere on meetup) to see "This is England" at the Regent Theatre (near Yonge & Davisville). I don't have a time/date fixed yet but I'll post here when I do. Sorry for posting non-DM stuff.

I wholeheartedly agree!!! I also would have liked to make it for the meetup beforehand, but I got all the way there when I realized I forgot my ID. *sigh* I had a great time, and I think I saw you there, Sachin! Next time I must say hi-I think I was just unsure and so didn't say anything lol. I wonder where Lazarus is going to take this... he told me that he wants to sontinue to hold the DM nights, so I guess we'll just have to stay tuned!

I like the choice of Tequila Bookworm for the pre-meet. Reasonable prices and small enough to spot the gang.

Nothing is wrong with GG. I was actually there for the post-meet! ;) It's located near Yonge and Carlton/College.

GG is open 24/7. Haven't been to the Yonge/Carlton location in at least 10 years but their other locations are OK- clean, reasonably priced and decent food.

Other 24/7 places are Seven West and Fran's.

I thought Fran's went under about a decade ago- their Yonge/St. Clair and Yonge/Eglinton locations are long gone sad
